Wanderer’s Path
The fluidity of the wax requires a letting go, while remaining mindful. The molten encaustic image is offset to paper where it is absorbed, cooling and affixing the image, and my movements, in time. These arrested marks mimic the seemingly random aspects of nature and other systems. They also reveal my uncharted journey, and how my ideas and aesthetics evolve.
